At the Chase Center in San Francisco, Sacramento defeated the Lakers 108-94 in a summer league game that served as a showcase for prospects and newcomers to start integrating into their respective teams’ offensive and defensive plans.
In the 40-minute game, James—who was selected 55th overall in the NBA Draft last month—started as a point guard and played 21 minutes and 43 seconds. He finished with four points on 2-of-9 shooting, 0 of 3 from 3-point range, and 0 of 2 from the free throw line.

However, he found time in Vegas to view a video of his son making his first basket, and he later explained to reporters that Saturday’s game was just a part of their education.
“I just hope for (him to get) his feet wet in the NBA — the pace of the game, the speed of the game, the physicality of the game,” stated LeBron James.
