Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes Defends His Title Successfully

Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens – Undisputed WWE Title Match: WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 Highlights

After Kevin Owens refrained from going after The American Nightmare’s wounded left knee, Cody Rhodes remains the Undisputed WWE Champion.

The boisterous German audience enthusiastically applauded each move as what had begun as a friendly competition gradually turned into a heated back and forth between the champion and challenger.

Targeting Rhodes’ midsection, Owens’ relentless attacks caused serious issues for the title, especially when he was able to deliver a full-force Cody Cutter and Disaster Kick.

With a vicious rolling senton from the second rope, the challenger resumed his assault on the champion’s chest, leaving The American Nightmare gasping for oxygen and barely managing to kick out.

A few moments later, Owens executed a modified fisherman suplex, but neither Superstar was able to win with either move. Rhodes mustered enough strength to execute a Cross Rhodes.

The American Nightmare attempted a diving crossbody by jumping to the top rope, but his knee gave out. At the last second, Owens debated whether or not to boot Rhodes in the back of the knee, but he decided against it.

Later on, when the action spilled to ringside, KO had the opportunity to land his vicious Apron Powerbomb, but he too chose not to use it.

Rhodes turned the tide by elevating his knees in response to Owens’ swanton bomb attempt, and two stunners were unable to stop him. Shortly after, the victor executed a last Cross Rhodes to hold onto his title.

After the match, Rhodes attempted to assist Owens up again, but Owens refused, and to the surprise of the WWE Universe, he raised the champion’s arm.

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill Capture WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs The Unholy Union – WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match

After defeating Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn in Berlin, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are the new owners of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title.

The winners exploited their distinctive offensive and dubious morality to outplay their opponents and play fast and loose with the rules.

Fyre and Dawn moved slowly, using Belair’s braid against her to keep her held down on the mat while Cargill was left with no choice but to stay on the apron.

When the EST eventually brought her companion along, Cargill destroyed The Unholy Union with huge clotheslines and amazing fall-away slams.

The challengers used their trademark Wheelbarrow Suplex/DDT combo to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice, but Belair stopped Dawn from executing Fyre’s Swanton Bomb.

CM Punk Triumphs Over Drew McIntyre in Strap Match

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre – Strap Match: WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 Highlights

CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a spectacular way during their intense and intimate Strap Match. Before the bell, McIntyre attacked Punk and used his strength to brutalize him. He also slapped the turnbuckles, which had to be hit consecutively for a participant to win, while making fun of his opponent.

Punk’s adrenaline-fueled hit on a GTS reversed the script, setting up a brawl between the two Superstars outside. Punk attempted to strike the turnbuckles, but The Scottish Warrior quickly sent him over the top rope and over a table outside the ring, turning the match into an attrition match.

Punk was taken down by McIntyre and brought to the corners, but The Second City Saint, not knowing his opponent’s strategy, cleverly smacked each turnbuckle to almost win the match. Even though Punk forced McIntyre to tap out and locked in a Sharpshooter, the Strap Match rules did not care.

When McIntyre regained control, he hit a Claymore and took away Punk’s family bracelet, but as he attempted to win the bout, he was discovered using another GTS.

Punk won the bout by slapping the fourth turnbuckle, marking his first victory in the WWE in almost 11 years. He had previously hit the GTS three times in a row while touching the turnbuckles and had boldly torn his bracelet off McIntyre’s arm.

Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest Overcome Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio

Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio – Mixed Tag Team Match

The bout began with Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. The tall former World Heavyweight Champion absolutely destroyed Dirty Dom, throwing him around the ring and putting him down with a massive boot. Mysterio hurried to his corner and tagged Liv Morgan, but Rhea Ripley was fast to enter the fight and gave her old adversary a dropkick.

Priest was sidetracked by Morgan, which gave Mysterio the opportunity to knock him into the announce table and the steel steps and take over for his team. Priest tagged in Ripley, who promptly restored her team’s momentum following another ill-advised shot by the Women’s World Champion.

Mysterio was confronted by the Eradicator, who devastated him by dumping him with clotheslines and encircling him in a large sleeper hold in the corner with her legs.

After dragging Mysterio free of Mami’s hold and hitting a Backstabber, Morgan almost stole the victory with a spectacular twisting slam/pinfall combination.

As Priest defeated Carlito, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor, the Terror Twins began to flex their muscles and focus on the remaining Judgment Day. After Ripley and her Terror Twin won with a ring-shaking Riptide, Morgan was left alone in the ring.

As he repeatedly threw The Ring General shoulder-first into the steel steps and dumped him on the announcement table, Vintage Orton methodically attacked his way to Germany.

Gunther persevered despite the agony, but Orton was able to stay in the fight longer because his clubbing, power-based offense wasn’t as successful.

Despite Orton’s crushing superplex, the champion persisted in his fight, using his wounded hand to deliver chops and punches. The Viper attempted an RKO, but Gunther countered with a German suplex, a T-Rex dropkick, and a massive top rope diving splash.

When the Ring General tried to raise Orton for a Powerbomb, Orton unexpectedly countered into an RKO for a protracted two-count.

Gunther was set up for an RKO when Orton smashed him through the announce table, but the champion countered and locked in a Sleeper.

The challenger made a great effort to break free of the submit, but Gunther miraculously persevered in spite of his injuries to his upper body and put Orton to sleep, securing his title in an amazing way.

Gunther gave Orton a post-match handshake, something The Ring General seldom does, and Orton accepted.
