She commented, “Hello civilization,” with a snapshot of Munich in another post. The feeling can only be comprehended by individuals who have spent three weeks in an environment similar to India.”

She traveled to take part in ITF competitions that were hosted in Bengaluru, Pune, Indore, Mumbai, and other Indian cities. Vaidehi Chaudhari, an Indian player, defeated her in one of the matches.
Social media users were incensed by Radanovic’s remarks against India, and several of them even called for an apology from the tennis player.

In response to criticism in the media, Dejana Radanovic made it clear that her remarks were directed at India as a whole rather than its citizens. She went on to say that she enjoyed spending time with the people of the nation.
“I didn’t like India – the country,” Radanovic stated in a different Instagram story.

She wrote, “I didn’t like the food, traffic, hygiene (worms in the food, yellow pillows and dirty bed linen in the hotel, not knowing how to use roundabout etc.)” and expressed her displeasure with the nation’s food quality and sanitation.

“If you come to my country, Serbia, and you don’t like all those same things, that means you are a racist???” wrote Radanovic, refuting the claims that he was racist. How in the world is it related to racism? I have friends of many colors and nationalities, so please don’t go there—it’s completely absurd.”

The Serbian footballer received harsh criticism on social media for her comment, and many others thought her explanation was even worse. Nonetheless, a number of social media users concurred with Radanovic’s observations regarding traffic and hygiene.
