Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary Portuguese football player, captivated fans throughout the globe when he posted a heartwarming photo of himself and his daughter on Instagram.
Following Portugal’s elimination from the UEFA Euro 2024 quarterfinal, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently on holiday with his family and appears to be enjoying his time away from the game.
Portugal was defeated 3-5 in a shootout by France; the final score after extra time was 0-0. On Wednesday, Ronaldo posted on Instagram about his impending leave of absence from Al Nassr. The captain of Portugal uploaded a video of himself with his kid, captioning it, “Daddy loves you, Mommy loves you..” After Portugal’s loss, Ronaldo was visibly comforting his friend Pepe, who had played in his last international match. Ronaldo was distraught.
After leaving, Ronaldo remarked on X, “We were expecting more. We were due for more. For us. For every single one of you. Regarding Portugal. We are appreciative of everything you have provided for us as well as everything we have accomplished thus far. I have no doubt that this legacy will be upheld and developed both on and off the field.”
Roberto Martinez, the head coach of Portugal, stated, “There have been no individual decisions made and it’s too early and raw to talk about that,” in reference to Ronaldo’s future.

Ronaldo, an attacker, has 212 caps and 130 goals for Portugal, the team that lost to France. Martinez had already declared, “Cristiano is on the Portuguese national team because he deserves to be there.”
