Adriana Rizzo:

American professional wrestler Adriana Rizzo was born Anna Jade Keefer in Albertville, Minnesota, on December 26, 1998. She is presently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the NXT brand. Rizzo had a successful track and field career prior to turning to professional wrestling. She won the ACC Indoor Long Jump Championship in 2022 and was named to the NCAA All-American team five times.

Rizzo, who grew born in Albertville, Minnesota, showed an early love of sports. Her commitment brought her to the University of North Carolina, where she majored in interdisciplinary studies and media productions. Rizzo excelled on the track and field team while attending UNC, winning five NCAA All-American honors and the ACC Indoor Long Jump Championship in 2022. ​

The announcement of Rizzo as a new recruit for the WWE Performance Center in the fall of 2022 marked a significant turning point in her athletic career. Her signing was a component of WWE’s plan to bring new talent to NXT, their developing brand. On October 28, 2022, Rizzo made her debut in the ring during an NXT live event where she competed in a battle royal to determine the top candidate for the NXT Women’s Championship. ​

She immediately made a name for herself on the NXT roster by adopting the ring name Adriana Rizzo. Rizzo became an important part of “The D’Angelo Family,” an Italian-American mobster-themed group, in November 2023 after aligning herself with Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. Rizzo’s involvement in this group goes beyond in-ring fighting; she manages financial and business concerns and is known as “The Glue” because of her crucial contribution to the dynamics of the faction. ​

A significant feud with the group OTM (Out The Mud), which includes SCRYPTS, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Jaida Parker, resulted from Rizzo’s affiliation with The D’Angelo Family. At NXT Vengeance Day, this rivalry reached its climax in a six-person tag bout, in which The D’Angelo Family prevailed. Subsequently, on February 13, 2024, Rizzo lost to Jaida Parker in her first broadcast singles match, ending their rivalry. ​

Rizzo participated in a six-woman gauntlet match on August 20, 2024, at No Mercy to decide the top candidate for the NXT Women’s Championship. During this fight, Sol Ruca defeated her. Notwithstanding the loss, Rizzo is positioned as a rising star in the NXT women’s division due to her reliable performances and her partnership with The D’Angelo Family. ​
