The James family announced on Tuesday that Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA player LeBron James, is in a stable condition following a heart attack that occurred during a practice with his collegiate basketball team. On Monday in Los Angeles, during a workout with his teammates from the University of Southern California, Bronny James, 18, passed out on the floor. “Yesterday, while practicing, Bronny James experienced a cardiac arrest,” an AFP statement from a James family representative stated.

Bronny was treated by medical personnel, who also transported him to the hospital. He is no longer in the ICU and his status is stable. “We kindly request quiet and respect for the James family, and we will notify the media as soon as we learn more.

“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

James was reportedly rendered unconscious after the cardiac episode before being sent to the hospital, according to the celebrity news website TMZ.com. NFL player Damar Hamlin, who shocked the sports world in January by going into cardiac arrest while playing for the Buffalo Bills, offered words of encouragement to the James family in the meanwhile.

Tweeted, “Prayers to Bronny & the James family as well,” Hamlin. “Here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process,” the 25-year-old continued. He has since recovered fully and been given the all-clear to return to the NFL.

Earvin “Magic” Johnson, a legend of the Los Angeles Lakers, also extended assistance. Johnson posted on Twitter, “We are praying and hoping he makes a full and speedy recovery.” Bronny James, who rose to prominence as one of the nation’s top high school basketball prospects, committed to play for the USC Trojans in May.

He finished his outstanding senior year at the prestigious Los Angeles school Sierra Canyon with 15 points and five 3-pointers made in an all-star game against elite college prospects.

His well-known father, who holds the record for most points scored in the NBA and has won four titles and been named the league’s Most Valuable Player four times, has long expressed a wish to continue playing in the league with his son.

In an interview with ESPN in January, James stated, “I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny…that would be ideal for sure.” After just one season with the Trojans, the teenage sensation James may be eligible for the NBA Draft. The Trojans are predicted to field a formidable team the next season.

James has already been predicted by some observers to be selected in the top 10 of the NBA Draft in 2024.

In October 2024, Bronny James would turn 20 years old. That same month, the NBA season of 2024–2025 would begin. In December 2024, his father’s birthday is December 40.

LeBron James’ Son Bronny’s Cardiac Arrest: Elon Musk Raises Vaccine Questions

When Bronny James, the NBA star’s son, went into cardiac arrest while practicing with his teammates from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, the basketball community was taken aback. Discussions were triggered by the occurrence, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk speculated on Twitter that Bronny’s health problem might have been related to a vaccine—possibly the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Myocarditis is a known adverse consequence of the vaccine, though we can’t blame it for everything. Its ubiquity is the crucial question, as Musk stated. According to recent reports, Bronny James has been taken out of intensive care after receiving timely medical attention and is now stable.

“Bryon James had a heart arrest yesterday during practise. He received emergency care from medical personnel, who also took him to the hospital. He is stable right now,” a James family representative told AFP, asking to remain anonymous but also thanking the USC medical personnel.

Approximately 90% of cardiac arrests that occur outside of hospitals result in death, according to the American Heart Association.

This situation is comparable to the one that happened to Vince Iwuchukwu, a basketball player for USC, who suffered from heart failure during unofficial practice last year and recovered totally.
