Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks YouTube World Record Hours After Channel Launch-2024 Updated
Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest football players of all time, has broken yet another record—this one isn’t related to the game.
After launching his official YouTube channel, “UR Cristiano,” a few hours later, Ronaldo broke the record for the fastest individual to gain one million subscribers on the platform. Amazingly, in just one day, he reached 10 million subscribers, breaking yet another global record.
Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the all-time greats in soccer, has advanced in his career. After dominating football for almost 20 years, Ronaldo has made the decision to pursue a career in content creation. He started by establishing his YouTube account, UR Cristiano.
Ronaldo broke a “world record” in the first few hours of launching his YouTube channel by being the first person to reach one million subscribers in the quickest amount of time in the platform’s history. Furthermore, Ronaldo’s YouTube account achieved a world record of 10 million subscribers in just one day.
Already, one of the most followed celebrities on social media is Ronaldo. He has 170 million Facebook fans, 636 million Instagram followers, and 112.5 million X (previously Twitter) followers.
“The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” Ronaldo announced the beginning of his new trip on social media on Wednesday.
Ronaldo celebrated the channel’s first day with videos, which included a teaser trailer and an entertaining game of trivia with his partner Georgina Rodriguez. A video of the Portuguese football player seeing his Madame Tussauds wax statue was also shown on the channel.
Prior to this, Hamster Kombat held the record for the fastest YouTube channel to achieve the 10 million mark, taking just 7 days to do it. With over 12 million subscribers now, Ronaldo‘s channel is growing at a rate that has never been witnessed before.
In the coming days, it wouldn’t be shocking if the seasoned striker, who currently plays for the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr, broke a number of further records on YouTube.
