Glenn Maxwell surpasses Suryakumar Yadav’s record and equals Rohit Sharma’s historic accomplishment

Maxwell also shattered Suryakumar’s record for the highest score by a No. 4 batter in Twenty20 International Cricket with his undefeated 120. The record was previously held by the Indian, who scored 117 runs against England in 2022. Additionally, Maxwell’s score beats the previous record of 119 set by South Africa’s Faf du Plessis, who had mentioned that hit in 2015. Maxwell’s performance is also the highest by a batter in the format against the West Indies.
Maxwell was overjoyed to see his parents watching his incredible knock, which he described as “good fun.”
“It was really enjoyable. This is always a fantastic place to bat, as seen by the Big Bash, when the wickets were always excellent. It was a great, true wicket.
