“Every year I come here, I feel a really positive vibe,” Swiatek continued, adding that the blast of confetti during the award presentation was the source of his worst fear of the day.

After 12 years, Victoria Azarenka was the last No. 1 seed to win the Indian Wells title. The 22-year-old will try to make history by being the first woman to win the unofficial ‘fifth major’ three times in the coming year.
She has the Miami Open in her sights this coming week, where Swiatek won the “Sunshine Double” in 2022. It appears that she won’t quit doing the trick.
