NBA Playoffs Updates: The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat the Denver Nuggets 98-90 in Game 7, advancing to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 20 years.

With a 15-point halftime disadvantage, the Timberwolves pulled off the biggest comeback in an NBA Playoff Game 7 thanks to a 16-point, 8-board, and 7-assist performance by Edwards. His 2-for-10 3-point shooting percentage and 6-of-24 overall shooting performance belied his effectiveness.

Edwards dribbled the ball upcourt and took a moment to say goodbye to the supporters as the seconds passed.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Jaden McDaniels both scored 23 points to help the Wolves advance to the Western Conference finals for the first time in precisely 20 years. Starting on Wednesday night, they will play the Dallas Mavericks at Target Center.

The Nuggets are now the fifth reigning champion team to miss the conference finals in a row. With 10:50 remaining in the third quarter, Murray’s three-pointer extended Denver’s advantage to 58-38. Jamal Murray scored 24 points in the first half to help the Nuggets jump out to a 53-38 lead at the break.

Pacers 130, Knicks 109

With a dominant first half led by Tyrese Haliburton, who scored 26 points, Indiana defeated New York and advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in ten years.

The Pacers’ first-half shooting percentage of 76.3%, which they made 29 of their 38 attempts, was the greatest in the postseason since the NBA started recording in-depth play-by-play for each of the four quarters in 1997. At that moment, they were up 70–55, and they continued to pull away whenever the Knicks attempted to score in the second half.

The No. 6 seeded Pacers progressed to play top-seeded Boston in a series that starts on Tuesday after setting an NBA playoff record with a 67.1% shooting percentage in the contest. When Indiana last made it to the conference championships, Miami defeated them.

With a fractured left hand, Jalen Brunson abandoned the game in the second half, the last injury to leave a Knicks squad that had been completely destroyed by them.

After missing the previous four games due to a strained left hamstring, they were able to get OG Anunoby back on Sunday. However, he was obviously not moving well and was substituted out of the game after only five minutes.

Aaron Nesmith was 8 for 8 on his way to scoring 19 points for the Pacers, while Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard each scored 20 points.
