Rhea Ripley Set to Challenge Liv Morgan for Women’s World Title at WWE SummerSlam 2024
Rhea Ripley made a stunning comeback during “WWE Raw.” She interrupted Dominik Mysterio’s celebration and targeted WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Rhea Ripley opened tonight’s broadcast by entering the ring as the fans screamed her name and shouting out WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, just one week after her unexpected reappearance on “WWE Raw” cut off the post-match celebration between Dominik Mysterio and Morgan.
Even though the champion ultimately made an appearance on video, which initially seemed to annoy Ripley, “Mami” soon pointed out that she could wait a little longer because she had waited three months for this chance, and she challenged Morgan for the championship at SummerSlam.
Before Morgan could respond to Ripley’s callout, Mysterio entered the ring, so she was unable to get right to work. “Dirty Dom” brought a single black rose with him, but Ripley mostly disregarded him since she was unwavering in her goal, which she defined as terminating not only her title reign but also Morgan’s retaliation tour.
As promised, Morgan went through the list of everything she had taken from Ripley and reassured her that she was not the Liv Morgan she knew. However, this didn’t deter Ripley in the slightest, as she concluded her promo by dropping the mic, looking straight into the camera, and reciting Morgan’s signature “Watch me!”

Throughout the sequence, Mysterio made no attempt at apologizing; the audience, as usual, did all in its power to muffle his words, and as they made their way backstage, Ripley slapped and threw away the rose he had brought.
In the following scene, he trailed her to her dressing room, which was festooned with numerous more black roses and other gifts. However, he was met with a slammed door, a bouquet hurled in his direction, a gift returned, and laughter in his face from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
