In a recent development, Delhi Capitals’ captain Rishabh Pant has been suspended for one match due to a breach of the IPL Code of Conduct concerning slow over-rates during their match against Rajasthan Royals on May 7. This suspension comes as Pant’s third over-rate penalty this IPL season, resulting in his absence from the upcoming match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday. This suspension poses a significant challenge for Delhi Capitals, with Axar Patel stepping in as the captain for this crucial fixture, where both teams are vying for a win to bolster their playoff aspirations.
