Bayern Munich’s chances of winning the Bundesliga were enhanced when they defeated RB Leipzig thanks to a goal from Harry Kane in stoppage time. Still, Leipzig persisted in applying pressure, and eventually Benajmin Sesko’s strongly deflected equalizer proved to be their reward. As the hosts appeared to have given up, Kane struck again, this time taking Leipzig’s lead with a sharp half-volley into the bottom corner.
The victor increased his Bundesliga total to 27 this season, giving Bayern Munich an unlikely but manageable mountain to climb in the hunt for the championship.

Tuchel stated in the lead-up that he was determined to bring Bayern the most success possible in his remaining years, and Kane’s thrilling late winner has maintained the slight chance of that happening. Bayern needs to overcome an eight-point gap with eleven games remaining.
Even while it would be an extremely unlikely and unusual feat, it wouldn’t be beyond the capabilities of a team that has won the league the past 11 times and has a forward in Harry Kane who is absolutely elite.
