Cristiano Ronaldo, currently excelling for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, may soon be in the news for a different cause.

The Portuguese star may be returning to Manchester United despite his outstanding play in Saudi Arabia, where he and his club just came in second to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final.

After losing to their bitter rivals Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final, Al-Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo were forced to settle for second place overall. The man with a champion’s mentality, Ronaldo, wasn’t content with accepting the silver medal and is now supported to return spectacularly to Manchester United, the team that first saw him rise to fame.

Louis Saha, Ronaldo’s former Manchester United teammate, has pleaded with the Portuguese striker to come back to Old Trafford, even in a coaching or managerial capacity.

“Cristiano Ronaldo possesses the drive and commitment to eventually rejoin Manchester United, perhaps in a managerial or coaching capacity. He was frustrated that his second term didn’t turn out the way everyone had hoped since he didn’t see the same recipe or the same level of passion from young players as he was used to, Saha said to TVSporten.

Ronaldo, who first transferred from Sporting CP to Manchester United in 2003, left for Real Madrid in 2009 and returned in 2021. But things didn’t work out during his second tenure there, and in 2022 he was forced to quit and join Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, where he is currently a player.

Ronaldo has the expertise and the attitude needed to become a manager, but Saha has advised him to slightly alter his communication style.

“Now that he is a coach, he will understand that he needs to develop a new communication style that may be less severe or direct than it was while he was with the team. We have saw Roy Keane succeed in management, so he will figure out how to be successful and apply all of his skills to do that. “I see no reason why Cristiano wouldn’t be successful as a manager; he will understand what he needs to do,” the individual remarked.

The next time we’ll see Ronaldo in action is on Thursday, when Al-Nassr takes on Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League opener.
